Western North Carolina: Easy to Escape to, but Hard to Leave
Come for a visit and fall in love again and again with Brevard, nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, the "Paris of the South". With mild temperatures all year, Transylvania County is a wonderful anytime destination. In addition to the world-class cultural attractions available in Asheville, we enjoy our summer music at the Brevard Music Center, Brevard's Festival of the Arts, fine dining and quaint shopping on Main Street and outdoor recreation of all kinds. Located less than an hour from the Asheville Regional Airport (served by several major airlines) and less than four hours' drive from Atlanta, western North Carolina is easy to escape to, but hard to leave.
Come and enjoy the Davidson River, one of Trout Unlimited's Top 100 streams in the U.S.,
flowing just a couple of miles away. With easy access to Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Gorges and DuPont State Parks, we are within an hour of nearly 600 miles of prime fi shing, including trout, smallmouth bass, and muskie.
Beautiful Brevard
